Tanjirou Kamado is the main protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. A kind-hearted young man, Tanjirou becomes a Demon Slayer after his family is slaughtered by demons, and his sister Nezuko is turned into a demon herself. Mugen Train Arc
Tanjirou, alongside Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, boards the Mugen Train to assist the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, in a mission to defeat the demon Enmu. This arc is pivotal for Tanjirou’s development as he witnesses the heroic sacrifice of Rengoku and learns to carry on his legacy. In the final arc of Demon Slayer, Tanjirou plays a central role in the battle against Muzan Kibutsuji.
