2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B)

Personality

2B is calm, composed, and duty-bound, often showing little emotion in the face of danger. As a YoRHa android, she is programmed to prioritize her missions above all else, sometimes to the detriment of her own emotional well-being. Despite this, 2B has a deep internal conflict regarding her existence and the existential questions surrounding her and her fellow androids. Throughout NieR:Automata, her interactions with 9S, another android who accompanies her on missions, help to bring out her more human-like qualities, showing vulnerability and emotional depth beneath her stoic exterior. While she initially distances herself from others, especially 9S, over time she learns to open up and form a meaningful connection with him.
